Recently, myself and George went on a little family shopping trip in Bristol, and although i went into town with my list of necessities, i wasn’t looking for anything in particular. But i obviously managed to pick up a few things…

As well as some top quality Primani (Primark’s finest; aka my favourite shop ever) i managed to come home with two other items which are both complete lifesavers.

When i remembered that there was a TKMaxx, i remembered that i had been eyeing up these recycled leather diaries that they have in their home section, which came in multiple colours. And although the colour i had been hoping on wasn’t there, this turquoise one was, and it caught my attention instantly!

As i’m going into my last year of my bachelors degree at university, i feel a diary will be needed more than ever, let along juggling a job and Captaining the universities cheerleading team on top of it all! (i am super excited for it all though!). What i really like about this diary is that it has a full page per day, with times of day down the side, as well as a section for notes!

My second favourite is the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. Ive heard loads of reviews about this little gem, and although there was a 400ml bottle, as it was my first time trying it, i decided to go for the small 125ml bottle for £1.99 instead.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, 125ml for £1.99

After using it for the past few days, i can already conclude that it is just as great as everyone says! I find that whenever i want to clean my face, wipe my make up off, refresh myself, i go to grab my little bottle and a cotton pad! It honestly feels like cleaning your face with magic water. Hypoallergenic and perfume free, dermatologically tested, ophthalmologically tested and even for sensitive skin – What more could you want?!

If you think anything like me, you’ll have wondered what Micellar water is, and how it differs from regular water. So i googled it!
“Micellar water takes its name from micelles, tiny round balls of cleansing molecules that float in the water. When you apply the product to your skin, the cleansing agents come into contact with oil and dirt on your face, allowing them to be swept away quickly and efficiently.

Micellar cleansing water uses very gentle but effective cleansing agents. There is no tingling or tightening effect, and it’s powerful enough to remove eye makeup, so there is no need for a separate makeup remover.”

Guess that makes sense… right? I recommend you give it a try!

  1. I’ve found that the Garnier one made my face feel greasy afterwards 😦 The Garnier one is a whole lot better size wise than the Nivea one I’m using at the moment though. Love the diary 🙂 x
